(Click the picture to get full size version) For my birthday Sandra got me a flying lesson! We went to the airport in Lelystad where I got some basic lessons on the ground and then a 1 hour flight in a Cesna 152. The instructor took off, and then handed the controls to me. I asked, "Where are we heading?" and his answer was "I don't know, you are the one flying!". We flew over Harderwijk, discussed the possibilities of landing amongst the cows, and then I attempted to do the landing. I did most of it until just before we landed. |
