Tuesday July 20, 1999 Zandvoort Beach BBQ! Amsterdam Edition

The weather didn't look very good when we left Amsterdam to go for a BBQ in Zandvoort but it turned out to be really nice. Zandvoort is on the coast about 30km from Amsterdam and is primarily known for its beaches.

We arrived by train at about 4pm bought some food and along with our BBQ went down to the beach. After a bit of swimming and some games on the beach we decided to eat. Supposedly you are not allowed to BBQ on the beach, but we didn't see any signs saying this so we chose a semi-secluded spot and had a great feast. It probably would have been a bit easier with napkins, utensils and plates but we had fun anyway! After watching an amazing sunset we packed up and went back to Amsterdam.
