| Monday July 19, 1999 | Sailing in Twiske | Amsterdam Edition |
|
To the north of Amsterdam is a recreation area called Twiske. It is a
large poulder with a big lake. In attendance were my coworker Tom,
his wife Rita, and their children Jeroen, Martijn, and Frank, another coworker
Maarten and his wife Madelon and children Victor and Emma, and my old
coworker Tjeerd, his wife Lisette and their son Stijn, and lastly Sandra and I.
We rented 3 sailing boats and spent the afternoon sailing around the lake. The weather was gorgeous which made swimming in the water lots of fun. Afterwards we went back to Tjeerd's house and had a BBQ in his garden. (Click the picture to get full size version) |
